At PARISI DENTAL, your health and the health of our staff are of the utmost importance. To ensure your health and the health of our staff, we do follow usual universal precautions in our operatories and office. Additionally, every half hour to an hour we wipe down the waiting room and common spaces with disinfectant.
To keep our patients and staff even safer, our office is utilizing an advanced medical grade air filtration system throughout our office called JADE by Biohorizons. It is an air purification and disinfection system that is capable of 15 air changes per hour. Each operatory is equipped with a Surgically Clean Air Purifier-JADE unit to improve the quality of air in our dental office. This JADE air purification unit is a world-class medical-grade air purifier which removes Chemicals, Toxins, Germs, Odors, and most importantly kills airborne Viruses, to help reduce the spread of illness. We have also incorporated the use of the
DEFENDER Aerosol Evacuator System to ensure the safest environment possible. This is a state-of-the-art Evacuator System to further help reduce the spread of airborne illnesses. The DEFENDER is a unique high power suction system that sucks viruses, bacteria, dust and aerosols through a 3 state HEPA Filtration system. It actually eliminates 99.97% of all particulate matter produced during dental procedures and then filters it through UV-C disinfection. This system provides the safety we all need to protect us all! COVID OFFICE POLICY
For the protection of all our patients and staff due the recent outbreak of coronavirus, we are requesting the following:
- If you have an illness or are exhibiting symptoms, we recommend you cancel and reschedule your dental appointment. Some illness and symptoms include:
- a cold or the flu
- fever or nausea
- severe headaches or body aches
- muscle or stomach pain, chest pain or difficulty breathing
- vomiting or diarrhea
- active tuberculosis (TB)
- mumps, measles, chickenpox
- other contagious disease
- Please notify our staff before your appointment if you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (ex. China, Italy, Iran, South Korea) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution.
If you are healthy, there’s no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment.
